My name is Brittany Durant, and I am a psychology major at the University of Rhode Island. I am a senior this year graduating in May 2012 and have plans to go onto graduate school to further my psychology degree. I created this site to display my academic and professional experiences.
During my Fall 2011 semester I had the opportunity to intern at the Ocean Tides program in Narragansett, RI. I was able to mentor and teach kids in what can be a challenging environment. I have a passion for psychology and counseling, and the behavioral conflicts presented in my internship gave me the ability to showcase my strengths.
